So basically the new TAY is a handful of commenters that have been promoted to "authors", and they post pseudo articles/ramblings/standard comments that then everyone else is supposed to discuss?
Words cannot describe my level of hype.
Why should I buy/play Civ 5?
Spring break next week, finally. Have quite a bit of work to do, but pretty excited to have some more time to dig into a few of my new games. Picking up Dark Moon on Sunday, pre-ordered Bioshock Infinite a few days ago, and I'm saving SimCity and Dead Space 3 for next week as well.
In response to the TAY question today, I want to hear about Renegade Kid's new FPS IP for the 3DS. That's pretty much it.
You guys have any cool desktops to show off? Been fiddling with mine, and it occurred to me that it would be cool to see what everyone on TAY has.
Anyone have any gaming laptop recommendations? Looking for something when I go to college, and at the moment was looking at a Surface Pro (MS guy, like how it ties into my PC, 360 and phone) because it has pretty much the same specs as the Razer Edge but is a bit more reigned in. That said, as much as I like the…
Bought Bad Company 2 for $6 out of nostalgia, probably shouldn't have. Just not feeling it, particularly due to how much better BF3 is on PC and how much time I've put into it. Also have to re-unlock all the weapons again, and I really don't care enough to bother. Oh well.
Aliens: Colonial Marines just got a 4gb patch on PC. I'm sure it changes nothing, but it'll convince a small portion of the "fans" that Gearbox actually does care, which is a bit saddening.
Hopped in my time machine (it's a 1982 Lamborghini Countach, incidentally) to check out the The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct reviews, and it panned out about as expected. You're welcome, incidentally. Should probably go ahead and preorder a copy as they'll all be sold out by the end of Thursday.
Still unsure what I should pick up this month. Originally, I was going for Bioshock Infinite and Dark Moon, but Lego City Undercover and Tomb Raider a pretty tempting. I'm pretty sure Bioshock Infinite will be superb, but after the Colonial Marines thing I'm not really willing to pull the trigger on anything before…
I have a a strange, terrible need to play SimCity. Launch woes, aside, it's been difficult holding out.
Anyone know if Dark Moon supports the Circle Pad Pro? I'm buying it either way, but the CPP support is kind of a big issue for me.
War Thunder is pretty fun, I'd recommend checking it out if you're on PC.
After an hour of grinding in BF3, I finally unlocked the JNG-90. Don't ever play recon, but I felt obligated to do it especially with End Game releasing tomorrow. Now for a bit of work, and then Fire Emblem.
Having a hard time deciding which games to pick up this month. I'm limited to 2, but if I could I'd pick up Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, and Lego City Undercover. Right now I'm leaning towards LM2 and Infinite, but Tomb Raider is very tempting especially with the steel book at target, and…
Anyone else notice that Xbox Live has been continuously on sale since about late December/January-ish? It hasn't been more than $35 for months. I'm hesitant to renew later this year when mine expires, because it would seem that Microsoft is planning something different in regards to Live for Durango.
Reflecting upon my Vita ownership (had it for about year, played everything I could get my hands on so no need to spout any hyperbolic nonsense about how I never actually had a Vita, or didn't play it), the biggest problem for me was the screen resolution. A lot of the games looked pretty decent, or at least would…
After making myself play the Fire Emblem demo through as you guys suggested, and realizing it was nearly midnight and crap how did I overlook this fantastic game, I quickly went out to secure the last copy within twenty one miles. Literally.
